Wi-Fi Issues
- 1.
Ensure the device is compatible with Alexa.
- 2.
Ensure the device you wish to pair is within 9m (30ft) of the Echo Dot (3rd Gen) Smart Speaker — 866/3968.
- 3. Turn off some of your devices temporarily to reduce interference. Check if that affects your Echo Dot (3rd Gen) Smart Speaker — 866/3968 ability to connect.
- 4. Check that your router is working. Check the connection on other devices to determine if the issue is with your Echo Dot (3rd Gen) Smart Speaker — 866/3968, or your network. Restart your router if other devices can not connect.
- 5. If your Wi-fi password has changed, update the Wi-Fi settings for the device in the Alexa app.

Ensure your Echo Dot (3rd Gen) Smart Speaker — 866/3968’s software is up to date.
