Bluetooth Issues
- 1. Ensure that your Bluetooth device is fully charged and close to your Echo Dot (3rd Gen) Smart Speaker — 866/3968 when pairing.
- 2.
Check that the device you wish to connect has Bluetooth technology and that it’s turned on.
- 3. Turn the Bluetooth off on your smartphone, then turn it back on again.
- 4. If you've previously paired your Bluetooth device, remove your paired Bluetooth device from Alexa. Then try pairing it again.For more information, see the Removing paired Bluetooth devices Topic.

Ensure the device you wish to pair is within 9m (30ft) of the Echo Dot (3rd Gen) Smart Speaker — 866/3968.
- 6.
Ensure your Echo Dot (3rd Gen) Smart Speaker — 866/3968’s software is up to date.
