Wi-Fi Issues

1.

Ensure the device is compatible with Alexa.

2.

Ensure the device you wish to pair is within 9m (30ft) of the Echo Dot (3rd Gen) Smart Speaker — 866/3968.

3. Turn off some of your devices temporarily to reduce interference. Check if that affects your Echo Dot (3rd Gen) Smart Speaker — 866/3968 ability to connect.

4. Check that your router is working. Check the connection on other devices to determine if the issue is with your Echo Dot (3rd Gen) Smart Speaker — 866/3968, or your network. Restart your router if other devices can not connect.

5. If your Wi-fi password has changed, update the Wi-Fi settings for the device in the Alexa app.

Ensure your Echo Dot (3rd Gen) Smart Speaker — 866/3968’s software is up to date.
