Positioning food
- Always follow use by dates and suggested food storage times.
- 1.
Meat and Fish – Store in a suitable container and place at the bottom of the fridge.
Caution : Ensure that fish and raw meat do not come in contact with other food.

Cooked food, cold dishes etc: Cover and place on any shelf.
Caution: Do not put hot food into the fridge as this will cause the internal temperature to rise, which will make the compressor work harder and will use more energy.
- 3.
Vegetables and Fruit: Store wrapped in plastic or paper with air holes at the bottom of the fridge.
Caution : Ensure that fish and raw meat do not come in contact with other food. - 4.
Cheese and Butter: Store covered in air tight food wrapping and place on the shelf.
- 5.
Milk Bottles: Store in the door shelves with a lid on.
- 6.
Place food evenly throughout the fridge so that air can circulate around it. Cover of wrap food especially if it has a strong flavour.
