• 1. Open the Alexa App.
  • 2. Touch Communicate.
  • 3. Touch Call.
  • 4. You will need to allow access to your contacts to use the Call function. Touch SETTINGS.
    If you have already allowed access skip to step 7.
  • 5. Touch the Contacts on/off toggle.
  • 6. Return to the Alexa app. Touch Call.
  • 7. Touch the desired contact to being a voice call.
  • 8. Touch the desired option, E.g. touch Alexa Audio Call direct from your Echo Dot (3rd Gen) Smart Speaker — 866/3968.
  • 9. Your phone will begin calling the desired contact's Alexa device.
  • 10. You can call directly from your Echo Dot (3rd Gen) Smart Speaker — 866/3968, by saying "Alexa, call {contacts name}.". Follow the Alexa voice prompts to call your contact.
