Positioning the fridge

1.

Ensure that the rear of the fridge and compressor are not obstructed. Leave at least 200mm space from the back of the fridge to the wall.

2.

Place the fridge in a well ventilated room with an ambient temperature of 10°c or above.

3.

Ensure there is at least 300mm space above the fridge and any other surface.

4.

Ensure there is at least 150mm space either side of the fridge and any other surface.

5.

Keep the fridge out of direct sunlight and any other heat sources.

6.

For correct levelling and air circulating underneath the fridge, the front feet may need to be adjusted.

For more information, see the Adjusting the feet topic.

7.

To allow the doors to self-close if they are not shutting correctly, tilt the fridge back about 10mm by turning the adjustable feet.

For more information, see the Adjusting the feet topic.
