Controlling your Video Doorbell with Alexa

With Alexa voice commands, you can watch live view, or communicate with your Video Doorbell. Compatible devices are Amazon Echo, Echo Show, Fire TV/Stick and Fire Tablets.

2. Ensure the Video Doorbell is connected to your Amazon account and Alexa.

3. To open live view, press the Alexa button on your Fire TV remote control, or touch the Alexa button on your device, or say "Alexa", then say "show (Video Doorbell name)".

4. To communicate with visitors at the door, press and hold the Alexa button on your Fire TV remote control, touch and hold the Alexa button on your device or say "Alexa", then say "talk to (Video Doorbell name)".

5. To end the conversation, release the Alexa button on your Fire TV remote control, or touch the Alexa button on your device or say "Alexa", then say "stop".

6. To close live view, press Home on your Fire TV remote control, or touch the Alexa button on your device, or say "Alexa", then say "exit".

7. Alternatively, the Security Camera can be launched from your SmartHome Dashboard. Press the Alexa button on your Fire TV remote control, or touch the Alexa button on your device, or say "Alexa", then say "show my SmartHome Dashboard".

8. Scroll to the Video Doorbell, then press OK.

9. To close live view, press Home on your Fire TV remote control, or touch the Alexa button on your device, or say "Alexa", then say exit.
