How do I setup my Nexus 7 for the first time?
1. When the device is powered on for the first time the Language menu will appear. Select the required language and touch the Next icon.
2. Setting up Wi-Fi menu will appear. Touch the Wi-Fi network wished to be connected to.
3. Enter in the password for the Wi-Fi network.
4. Touch CONNECT.
5. Touch Skip once the device has connected to the Wi-Fi network.
6. Enter Gmail account and password and touch NEXT.
7. Touch ACCEPT to confirm acceptance of the terms of services.
8. Select Remind me later and touch NEXT to skip payment info.
This can be added at a later time.
9. To backup apps from a previous device, select the device from the drop down menu and press NEXT.
10. Read the Google Services and touch NEXT.
11. If a backup was selected the Nexus 7 will now Restore settings from the previous back up.
12. The initial set up has now been completed and your device will go to the home screen and be ready to use.
