Adding an SD card to the BUSH tablet

1. The narrow end of the microSD card goes into the tablet first, with the contacts away from the screen.

This is the type of card you will need.

2. Push the microSD card carefully into the slot until it clicks into place.

3. An icon for the microSD card will appear in the top left corner of screen. Drag down the notifications panel.

4. Touch SETUP.

5. There are two options:

  • Use as portable storage — This is for transferring files from the tablet to other devices and so won't be permanently installed in the tablet.
  • Use as internal storage — The microSD card becomes a permanent part of the device storage and is used by the tablet to store media files etc.

6. Select Use as portable storage and touch NEXT.

To use the microSD card as permanent storage go to Step 9.

7. Your microSD Card is now ready to save files to, touch DONE.

8. To remove the microSD card, use the eject function. This can also be found by dragging down the Notification panel and touching EJECT.

9. From step 6, if you choose to use the microSD card as permanent storage, then select Use as internal storage and touch NEXT.

10. The microSD needs to formatted in a special way, touch ERASE & FORMAT.

WARNING! This will delete any data on the microSD card, so only go through this if you are confident that there is no data on the microSD you wish to keep.

11. The tablet will format the microSD card.

12. Select Move now and touch NEXT.

13. Read the instructions and touch MOVE.

14. The files will be moved, touch Done.

15. The microSD card will now be used as part of the tablets storage.
