Getting to know the Echo Dot (3rd Gen) Smart Speaker — 866/3968

1. Action button — Press once instead of using your wake word. It can also silence alarms, put the device into setup mode, and more.

2. Volume Up + Down — Used to control the volume of your device.

You can also use voice commands to control the volume.

3. Microphone button — Used to mute and unmute your Echo Dot (3rd Gen) Smart Speaker — 866/3968.

4. Light Ring — Used to display the status of your Echo Dot (3rd Gen) Smart Speaker — 866/3968.

5. Microphones — 4 microphones to pick up requests to Alexa.

6. Power connection — To connect the power cable to your Echo Dot (3rd Gen) Smart Speaker — 866/3968.

7. 3.5mm Audio Jack — Used to connect to audio outputs such as headphones or external speakers.

8. Speaker (internal) — Used for playback of music and Alexa's answers.
