• Checking the water inlet connection for leaks.
  • 1. Inspect the connection to the mains water for any signs of leaks.
  • 2. If there is any signs of a leak, ensure the mains water connection is turned to the closed position before removing the inlet hose.
  • 3.

    Unscrew and remove the water inlet pipe.

    Check for dirt and debris build up at the connection point. Clean if necessary.

    Your appliance may have a filter on the inlet pipe. Check this is clean and free from any dirt debris.

  • 6. Inspect the inlet connection to the appliance for signs of leaks
  • 7. If there is any signs of a leak, remove the inlet hose from the appliance.
  • 8.

    Check for dirt and debris build up at the connection point. Clean if necessary.

  • 10.

    Connect the right angled end of the water inlet hose to the water inlet connection and tighten by hand.

    Never use tools to tighten the nut as you may damage the nut and washing machine.
  • 11.

    Connect the straight end of the water inlet hose to the cold water inlet pipe and tighten by hand.

  • 12.

    When the water inlet hose is connected, open the water inlet tap and check that there are no water leaks.
