• Note: Periodically the look of menus and the home screen may change. Images in these guides may not always reflect what you see on screen. These updates are done automatically by the TV.

    Before connecting a device to your TV, ensure the TV is turned off and unplugged from the mains power.

  • 1. Unplug your TV and sound bar from the mains power.
  • 2. Locate the eArc HDMI2 input on the side of the TV.
  • 3. Plug one end of the HDMI cable into the eARC HDMI input.

    Plug the other end of the HDMI cable into HDMI ARC input socket on the sound bar.

    Plug your TV and sound bar into the mains power.

  • 5. Press Standby to turn your TV on.

    Turn on the sound bar, and change the source to ARC.

  • 6. Press Home to access the Home Screen.
  • 7.

    Scroll to Settings.

  • 8.

    Scroll to Equipment Control, then press Select.

  • 9.

    Scroll to Add Equipment, then press Select.

  • 10. Scroll to Soundbar, then press Select.
  • 11.

    Scroll to the brand of the Soundbar (E.g., Sony), then press Select.

  • 12. Press Select.
  • 13. Follow the onscreen instructions.
  • 14.

    If the soundbar turned off, then on, scroll to Yes.

  • 15.

    Press Select.

  • 16.

    Press the Volume up and Volume down buttons.

  • 17.

    If the music volume came out as expected scroll to Yes.

  • 18. Press Select.
  • 19. Scroll to the desired input source (E.g., HDMI2), then press Select.
  • 20.

    Press Select. The Fire TV remote has been updated.
