Setting up the Parental Controls
- Note: Periodically the look of menus and the home screen may change. Images in these guides may not always reflect what you see on screen. These updates are done automatically by the TV.
- 1.
Press Home to access the Home Screen.
- 2.
Press Settings.
- 3.
Scroll to System, then press OK.
- 4.
Scroll to TV Lock, then press OK.
- 5.
Enter your 4 digit PIN, then press OK.
The default password is 1234, if you have changed the password after the initial setup, use the new password.
- 6.
From the Parental controls menu you have the ability to block access to desired Channels, Inputs and certain Programme restrictions (for example Age restrictions).
- 7. Scroll to Channel lock, then press OK.
- 8. Scroll to the desired channel (E.g., BBC TWO), then press OK.
- 9. This channel is now locked.A padlock icon will appear next to the channel.
- 10. Press Back.
- 11. Scroll to Parental rating, then press OK.
- 12. Press OK.
- 13. Scroll to the desired age (E.g., 12), then press OK.
- 14. Press Back.
- 15. Press Back.
- 16. Scroll to Inputs lock, then press OK.
- 17. Scroll to the desired input (E.g., HDMI1), then press OK.
- 18. The selected input is now locked.A padlock icon will appear next to the input.
- 19. Press Back.
- 20. Scroll to TV buttons lock, then press OK to lock the TV buttons.
- 21. Scroll to Channel scan lock, then press OK to lock the TV channel scan function.
- 22. To restore the lock settings to default, scroll to Clean all, then press OK.
- 23. Scroll to and select OK.
- 24. All TV locks have now been set to default settings. Press Back to exit.
