    If for some reason your Chromecast is slow or locking up you may want to restart it. This will re-boot your Chromecast.

    Press Home to access the Home Screen.

  • 2.

    Scroll to Settings, then press Select.

  • 3.

    Scroll to System, then press Select.

  • 4. Scroll to Restart, then press Select.
  • 5.

    Scroll to Restart, then press Select.

  • 6.

    Your Chromecast will now restart.
