1. Unplug the portable air conditioning unit from the mains.
2. Remove the exhaust hose.

3. Place the unit where water can be drained.
4. Locate the lower drain cap.
5. Unscrew and remove the lower drain cap.
6. Carefully pull out the stopper.
7. Any waste water will drain out.
8. When water has finished draining, replace the stopper.
9. Replace the lower drain cap.
10. Place the unit back to the desired location.
11. Replace the exhaust hose.

12. Let the unit rest for 3 minutes.
13. Plug the portable air conditioning unit into the mains power.
