    The purpose of the remote test is to find out if the remote control is sending a signal to your TV. To carry out the test you will need a smart phone with a front facing camera.

    Open the camera app on the phone and switch to the front facing camera.

    Aim the remote control at the camera and repeatedly press buttons on the remote control.

  • 4.

    If you can see the remote control’s infra-red LED flashing on the phone screen, the remote control is working and sending a signal to your TV.

    If the remote does not work and the product is within warranty, contact your retailer. If the product is outside of the warranty period, either contact Argos technical support or a qualified repair service.
