Screen Time can be used to manage app use, and set a schedule for time away from your iPhone.
1. Touch Settings.
2. Scroll to and touch Screen Time.
3. Touch App & Website Activity.
4. Touch Turn On App & Website Activity.
5. Displays the daily average screen time.
6. Downtime — Use to set a specific period of time during which certain apps, or app categories are limited or restricted.
7. App Limits — Use to set specific usage limits for certain apps, or app categories.
8. Always Allowed — Use to set specific apps to always be accessible, even when downtime or app limits are active.
9. Screen Distance - Use Screen Distance to notify you if you hold your iPhone with Face ID too close for a long period of time.
10. Communication Limits — Use to set a specific time limit on who can contact you and when, including phone call, messages and FaceTime.
11. Community Safety - Use to protect you and your children from inappropriate photos and videos, also from sharing such content.
12. Content & Privacy Restrictions — Use to manage and control certain aspects of your iPhones functionality, content access and app usage.
13. Lock Screen Time Settings — Use to set a passcode to secure Screen Time and allow more time when limits expire.
14. Share Across Devices — Use to sync certain app data, content and settings across multiple devices using the same Apple ID.
15. Set Up Screen Time for Family — Use to set up and manage Screen Time settings for children's devices, including app usage and control limits.
16. To turn off Screen Time, touch Turn Off App & Website Activity.
17. Touch Turn Off App & Website Activity.
18. Screen Time is now turned off.
