1. Open the camera, then scroll right to Portrait mode.
2. Touch the Camera switcher to switch between the front or rear camera.
3. Touch Flash to activate or deactivate the flash.
4. Touch the desired area you would like in focus.
The camera needs to be a minimum distance away from the object for portrait mode to work.
5. To adjust the depth of field, touch f.
6. Scroll the Dial left or right to adjust the depth of field.
The higher the number the more background detail will be captured.
7. Touch the arrow to open the features menu.
8. Flash — Used to set the flash to Flash Auto, On or Off.
9. Exposure — Use the slider to adjust the light exposure.
10. Timer — Used to set a delay timer with the options of Timer Off, 3s or 10s.
11. Colour Effects — Used to give your photo different colour effects.
12. f — Scroll the Dial left or right to adjust the exposure to the desired depth of field.
13. To access lighting effects, touch the Natural Light icon, then drag the Effect selector to the desired lighting effect.
14. Natural Light — The face in the picture stays in sharp focus against a blurred background.
15. Studio Light — The face in the picture is brightly lit, and the rest of the photo will have an overall clean look.
16. Contour Light — The face in the picture will have dramatic shadows with highlights and lowlights.
17. Stage Light — The face in the picture is spotlit against a deep black background.
18. Stage Light Mono — The similar effect as Stage Light, but in black and white.
19. High-Key Light Mono — This creates a greyscale subject on a white background.
20. Touch the arrow to close the feature menu.
21. Touch the Shutter to take a picture.
