1. Plug in your device. The power socket is located on the underside of your Echo Dot (3rd Gen) Smart Speaker — 866/3968.

2. Open the Alexa app.

3. Touch More.

4. Touch Add a Device.

5. Touch Amazon Echo.

6. Touch Echo, Echo Dot, Echo Plus and more.

7. Check the light ring is orange and touch YES.

8. The Amazon App will now search for your Echo Dot (3rd Gen) Smart Speaker — 866/3968.

9. Touch your Echo Dot (3rd Gen) Smart Speaker — 866/3968.

10. The Alexa App will search and connect for your Wi-Fi network.

11. Your Echo Dot (3rd Gen) Smart Speaker — 866/3968 will connect to the Wi-Fi network. Touch CONTINUE.

12. Choose the desired language for the app. E.g. English and touch CONTINUE.

13. Choose the room your Echo Dot (3rd Gen) Smart Speaker — 866/3968 is in and touch CONTINUE.

14. Choose a location for your Echo Dot (3rd Gen) Smart Speaker — 866/3968. This will help to give Alexa accurate answers to your requests. (For example local weather forecasts). Touch CONTINUE.

15. Choose a name for the address and touch NEXT.

16. The Alexa walk-thorough tour will now begin. To skip press SKIP.

17. Your Echo Dot (3rd Gen) Smart Speaker — 866/3968 is now set up. Touch LET'S GO.
